The hotel aims to be the top destination hotel-resort in Davao by providing excellent services and products through traditional Filipino hospitality for total guest satisfaction.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Davao. As a Maintenance Engineer at Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and aligning schedules, objectives, resources, and activities for overall engineering operations of the Property Hotel specifically in the areas of preventive maintenance, shift operations, troubleshooting, and repair within the limits of generally acceptable engineering and safety standards as well as established guidelines, standards, and procedures of the Hotel in order to achieve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction by ensuring minimal operational disruptions arising from malfunctioning of engineering facilities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, licensed, and with proven expertise.
  • At least five (5) years of related work experience, one (1) year of which in supervisory capacity preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Strong technical background in shift operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in any of the areas of electrical, mechanical, civil, and electronics.
  • Literacy in computer operation.
  • Above average analytical and technical skills, with good service orientation.
