Overview Job Description Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and diagnose problems using appropriate testing devices. Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine electrical layouts. Ensure all electrical work meets national and local electrical codes and safety standards. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including contractors, engineers, and other electricians. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Respond promptly to emergency electrical service calls. Maintain and repair electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, and electrical panels. Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of work performed. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Provide training and mentorship to apprentice electricians when needed. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Strong understanding of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Proficient in using electrical testing devices (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with clients and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments. Valid electrician’s license and/or certification (as required by local regulations). High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or apprenticeship preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in both residential and commercial electrical work. Knowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., solar panels) is a plus. Experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
