What is the role As a Senior Network Engineer, you will lead a major network transformation by driving the migration from Cisco to Arista. This high‑impact position blends strategic leadership with deep technical expertise, requiring extensive experience in Arista Networks and Fortinet firewalls. You’ll guide a team of engineers through complex challenges, ensuring seamless execution, operational excellence, and long‑term success. 21‑month contract position Other duties and responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following: Architect and maintain Arista‑based network infrastructures and Fortinet NGFW & SD‑WAN solutions Design Layer 2/3 topologies using Arista EOS, Cloud Vision, and spine‑leaf architecture Lead configuration, policy development, and performance tuning of Fortinet firewalls Supervise and mentor a team of network engineers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects Drive automation efforts using Python, Ansible, and Fortinet APIsCollaborate across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud application teams Develop and enforce Zero Trust segmentation across Arista and Fortinet platforms Troubleshoot complex network and security events using Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer Work Set‑up/Schedule Permanent WFH 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST Who we are looking for Successful candidate must possess: Must have 7–10 years in enterprise network engineering Must have 5+ years with Arista Networks and Fortinet Firewall (senior‑level) Must be certified Arista ACE Level 3+, Arista Certified Engineer, Cisco CCIE Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, Fortinet NSE 4+ is preferred Strategic, security‑focused, adaptable leader Excellent written and communication skills Innovation‑driven with strong mentoring abilities Technical Skills: BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN Azure, AWS, GCP; SDN and micro segmentation What we offer Permanent WFH Sunlife Group Insurance Health and Wellness Reimbursement Benefits Company Salary Loans Government contributions Assistance with government loan payments 13th month pay Holiday pay (for hours worked on holidays) Mandated Leaves Work equipment provided Referral bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr
