Content Strategist

Overview

Audit client’s content marketing strategy and optimize or develop new strategies for their Japan website in alignment with corporate and regional marketing goals. Provide strategic and technical guidance for content creation, curation, and publishing. Write, edit, and localize high-quality Japanese-language copy for web pages, campaigns, and digital assets. Ensure scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and brand consistency while working with client stakeholders.

Content Management & Operations

• Map content components to digital templates within the client’s CMS (e.g., AEM or equivalent).
• Partner with design, UX, and development teams to optimize content structure for readability and engagement.
• Support SEO optimization and accessibility compliance for Japanese content.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory teams to review and approve content.
• Coordinate with global content strategists to ensure alignment with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Japanese and English
• Good to have experience with copy manuscripts (medical content) and component mapping in Japanese
• Must be open to a 6-month employment contract
• Preferably immediate joiners

Work Schedule

Will have regular working hours (Japan timezone) and overlap with the US timezone once a week for stand-up meetings.
