Model Construction: Designing and developing complex financial models, typically in Excel or other spreadsheet software, that integrate various financial statements and schedules (e.g., depreciation, debt, working capital) Ensuring Accuracy and Robustness: Meticulously checking models for errors, inconsistencies, and ensuring they accurately reflect the business's operational complexities. This includes using best practices for model design and structure. Flexibility and Scalability: Designing models that are flexible enough to accommodate changes in assumptions, scenarios, and business circumstances, and can be scaled for different analyses. Financial Analysis and Forecasting Financial Projections: Forecasting future financial performance (revenues, expenses, profits, cash flows) over specific periods (e.g., 3-10 years) based on developed assumptions. Valuation: Determining the value of a business, project, or asset using various valuation techniques like Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (trading comps), and precedent transactions Scenario and Sensitivity Analysis: Testing different hypothetical scenarios (e.g., best‑case, worst‑case, base‑case) and assessing their impact on financial outcomes. This helps in understanding risks and opportunities. Investment Analysis: Evaluating potential investments, projects, or acquisitions by calculating key financial metrics like Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return on Investment (ROi), and Net Present Value (NPV). Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with annual budgeting, financial planning, and long‑term strategic planning by providing data‑driven forecasts and resource allocation insights. Qualifications B.S Accountancy; BS Management Accountant; 5-7 years experience in Financial Planning Analysis and Budget or in any of related field.
