About the Role As the Enterprise Cloud Architect , you’ll define, design, and govern Red Hat OpenShift (RHOCP) architecture across multiple environments. You’ll partner with cross‑functional teams to build scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure while mentoring engineers and driving cloud adoption strategies. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain architecture for multi‑cluster, multi‑cloud RHOCP environments. Develop technical roadmaps for OpenShift, service mesh, GitOps, and related technologies. Establish standards and blueprints for application modernization and migration. Lead capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost management strategies. Guide engineering teams on complex design and implementation decisions. Integrate DevSecOps pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Tekton. Architect and enforce enterprise‑grade security, RBAC, and monitoring frameworks. Partner with Red Hat and cloud vendors for roadmap alignment and support optimization. Mentor and coach cloud and DevOps engineers on RHOCP best practices. Must‑Have Qualifications 8+ years of IT architecture experience, including 4+ years focused on Kubernetes or OpenShift. Strong hands‑on expertise in designing and managing large‑scale RHOCP or Kubernetes clusters. Deep experience with containerization (Docker/Podman) and Linux administration (RHEL preferred). Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC platforms. Familiarity with multi‑cloud ecosystems — AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of networking, SDN, and storage integrations in OpenShift environments. Good‑to‑Have Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), CKA, or CKAD certifications. AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Architect certifications. Experience mentoring engineering teams or managing vendor relationships.
