Overview

The Senior Engineer, Product Engineering (Mfg) will be responsible for product health, including activities such as improving manufacturing test solutions, optimizing yield and cost, and supporting product lifecycle from pre-release through production release.

Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives to increase gross margin through yield improvement and cost reduction (test time reduction, test optimization).
  • Improve and redesign manufacturing test solutions for released products, including both software and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot existing ATE product test solutions and implement corrective actions.
  • Support Customer Return and Quality Improvement initiatives through test characterization and implementing fan-out solutions to other test platforms.
  • Design experiments for product qualification, stabilization, and process improvement.
  • Evaluate product variants through test validation and bench correlation.
  • Perform product analysis through test data analysis using statistical tools and test hardware (Bench Equipment, ATE, CT).
  • Provide engineering support/judgement to aid meeting product supply chain objectives.
  • Support new products throughout their life cycle from pre-release to production release.
  • Design and implement new product final test solutions for manufacturing, including hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit on Product Health across multiple devices.
Key Qualifications
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C#/VBA/NI.
  • Strong foundation in analog and digital electronics analysis.
  • Ability to read, understand, and analyze hardware schematics.
  • Ability to integrate test solutions across hardware and software.
  • Good presentation and documentation skills; proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a semiconductor company.
  • Experience in Test or Product Engineering is highly preferred.
