This is a fully remote position ideal for someone who can balance strategic financial oversight with hands‑on accounting execution. What You’ll Do: Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction reviews to ensure up‑to‑date books. Support budget preparation and monitoring to track performance against goals. Ensure compliance and audit readiness by maintaining strong documentation and internal controls. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Assist with special projects, tax prep support, and process improvements as needed. What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of accounting experience, including financial reporting and bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices. Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero, with advanced Excel skills. Experience in corporate accounting – preferably within real estate or property management. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities. Willingness to perform both strategic and day‑to‑day accounting tasks. CPA license (or equivalent certification). Experience preparing tax returns. Background in internal control implementation or team leadership. Familiarity with Yardi. Note: An NBI or police clearance will be required upon offer acceptance.
