The Analyst, Controllership (General Accounting) will help maintain accurate and timely financial reports, adhere to company policies and controls, and participate in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing while investing in personal development. Responsibilities Record and reconcile payroll journal entries (salaries and wages, benefits, taxes and deductions) for global entities such as Kenya, Guatemala and the US. Perform flux and variance analysis of P&L, identify reasons for variance, and propose adjustments if necessary. Create and maintain templates for working papers to improve accounting processes. Regularly review balance sheet accounts (such as tax withholding and statutory contributions) to ensure balances are properly accounted for and that necessary amortizations or reversals are carried out. Perform periodic reviews of books in compliance with guidelines on company and department charging and standards such as GAAP, PFRS and BOI reporting. Perform tasks as assigned from time to time.
