Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in tax preparation, BAS (Business Activity Statements), XERO, MYOB, GST, IAS.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and lodge individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with ATO regulations.
Prepare and lodge BAS, including GST, PAYG, and other relevant obligations.
Maintain accurate financial records, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
Process payroll, including superannuation, leave entitlements, and other employee-related payments.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Utilize XERO for bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
Ensure all financial practices comply with Australian tax laws and regulations.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide updates on financial matters.

Qualifications:
Minimum of1 - 2 years of bookkeeping experience in Australia, with a focus on tax preparation and BAS.
Proficient in XERO with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
Experience working with a variety of clients and industries is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and BAS requirements.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
