Job Description

Our team manages all workplace-related applications and technologies, with a current focus on the Web Workplace—an inclusive platform serving all mid- and back-office personas with extensive integration capabilities.

The team comprises software engineers and business analysts located in Manila and Zurich. We operate in a mostly self-organized manner using agile methodologies, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality. Our work spans multiple technology stacks, from PL/SQL-driven backend to Angular-driven frontend.

Your key tasks

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Architects on specifications and design
  • Take ownership and responsibility for your area of expertise
  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the RM Workplace
  • Enhance and optimize existing functionalities
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members

Qualifications

  • University or higher education degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant software development experience
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a structured, autonomous approach to complex technical problems
  • Extensive experience in building web applications using Angular, Typescript, and Node.js
  • Willingness to engage in all software lifecycle stages, from requirements to deployment
  • Good collaboration and communication skills

Desirable extras

  • Knowledge or experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of cloud-hosted multi-tenant services, such as authentication and scaling mechanisms
