Verify that medical documentation supports accurate coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and appropriate DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) assignment. Ensure compliance with U.S. healthcare regulations, including CMS and HIPAA. Identify gaps in clinical documentation and provide feedback or clarification requests to physicians or healthcare providers. Assist in improving documentation accuracy to reflect the complete and accurate clinical picture for optimal coding and reimbursement. Work with other clinical and coding teams to improve documentation practices and ensure alignment with payer requirements. Collaborate with coding teams to ensure that medical records are coded correctly, based on clinical documentation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
