Overview

Role: Trust Sales Officer at RCBC

Responsibilities
  • Generates additional trust business volume and income by soliciting and opening new trust accounts and promoting cross-selling of trust products in branches and with cross-selling partners.
  • Keeps abreast of updates on Bank and BSP policies as stated in the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MLPP) through circulars, required seminars/programs, and adherence to said policies.
  • Performs proper Know-Your-Client (KYC) procedures and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) / Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) based on the client\'s risk profile for new accounts.
  • Prepares short and long term marketing plans that set the emphasis of the team\'s selling and marketing activities.
  • Conceptualizes, develops, and launches new trust products and services in coordination with the Product Development Officer; performs product support and monitoring to ensure continued growth in volume.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Three (3) years of industry experience in a financial institution in a Marketing Officer capacity.
  • Working knowledge of the various Trust products and services and the regulations governing Trust business; familiarity with Portfolio Management and Financial Markets.
