KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audit loan files to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations

• Identify and document any potential risks or issues in loan files

• Communicate with loan officers and underwriters to resolve any discrepancies or issues

• Maintain detailed records of audit findings and recommend corrective actions

• Participate in loan file quality control reviews and provide feedback to team members

• Provide training and support to team members on loan audit processes and procedures

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in loan auditing and risk managemen

• Management of Leads in CRM to ensure workflow is updated and follow-up maintained.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a broad range of people.

• Attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word

• Analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and issues

• Demonstrated time management skill

• Strong understanding of Australian lending guidelines and regulations
