CAD Operator

We are looking for a CAD Operator to join our Design & Technical team. The position involves preparing lighting layouts, shop drawings, and technical documentation for various projects. The role requires strong attention to detail, coordination with engineers and designers, and a solid understanding of lighting and electrical layouts. Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for lighting layouts, installation details, and fabrication plans. Revise and update drawings based on project development, client feedback, or site modifications. Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with design standards. Prepare shop drawings, as-built plans, and lighting control schematics for project documentation. Maintain organized drawing files and ensure version control for all project documents. Support project estimation, procurement, and implementation through accurate measurements and layout preparation. Translate conceptual lighting designs into precise and executable plans. Assist in creating presentation layouts, mock-ups, or 3D visualizations as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Technical Drafting , or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in CAD drafting within the lighting, architectural, or construction industry (fresh graduates are welcome). Proficient in AutoCAD ; knowledge in SketchUp or Dialux is an advantage. Understanding of electrical layouts , lighting symbols , and technical documentation . Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans effectively. Willingness to learn and adapt to new lighting technologies, software, and workflows.
