Project Planning and Management

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, regulatory requirements and timelines.
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule and project cost using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation or fact sheet.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques including the tracking of the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the projects.
  • Ensure that all project materials are delivered on-time, within scope and budget and adherence to quality.
  • Approve billing appraisal
  • Report any concerns to the management.
Communication and Team Management
  • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors.
  • Monitor personnel weekly and monthly to-do lists and accomplishments.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members according to individual strengths, skill set and experience levels.
  • Develop comprehensive plans to be shared with different department heads to address concerns.
  • Coordinate with other departments during project site inspection together with accredited financing institutions.
  • Use and continually develop leadership and management skills
Budget Management
  • Review billings per project site on work accomplished by contractors.
  • Identify and address any cost overruns
  • Monitor and evaluate on-going project cost
Quality Control, Risk, and Safety Management
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure project standards are met.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee testing of materials.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies and operational control
  • Resolve technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Address safety concerns promptly.
Educational Qualifications
  • Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Project Management, or a related field is required.
  • Master's Degree: Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Experience Level: Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience in real estate project management.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong project management skills, real estate planning, attention to detail, teamwork, customer relationship management, planning & scheduling, decision-making, environmental awareness, budget appropriation, excellent communication, and contract management.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Oversee project lifecycle, manage budgets, coordinate teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain client relationships.
  • Working Conditions: Typically office-based with site visits; flexibility in hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
  • Qualities and Traits: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, resilience, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.
