We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant with 1–2 years of experience to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing vendor-related requests, reviewing payment request forms from internal stakeholders, and supporting general accounting activities to ensure accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Review and manage payment request forms submitted by internal end users, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and correct account coding before routing for processing. • Handle vendor setup and modification requests in the system, verifying documentation and adherence to internal controls. • Prepare manual journal entries, including accruals, amortizations, and account classifications. • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by providing timely and accurate accounting data. • Maintain organized financial records and documentation in line with audit requirements. • Coordinate with various departments to resolve discrepancies or questions related to payment requests and vendor information. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 1–2 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or general ledger support. • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and journal entry preparation. • Experience using any accounting or ERP system; Oracle experience is a strong plus. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data sorting, basic formulas). • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Experience: • Working in a shared services or multinational environment. • Exposure to financial close processes and vendor master data management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
