Global E-commerce - Creator and Content Governance Strategy Manager

Overview

E-commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for users, sellers and creators. We focus on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality and provide world-class service and experience for customers, sellers, and creators. This role formulates, applies, and communicates Ecommerce policies for creators and their content, localizing policies for the Philippines while aligning with company principles. It requires strong research, risk discovery, and critical analysis to analyze metrics, surface emergent risks, and drive operational optimisation to improve the live-shopping experience.

Responsibilities
  • Grasp, track and analyze key metrics for creators’ performance in videos and livestreaming; develop data-driven strategies and policies to manage account health, violations, rewards and penalties, and consequently content quality and viewer experience.
  • Identify, mitigate and monitor risks and creators’ pain points to improve content ecosystem quality and personalised recommendations; develop and implement new signals, metrics and risk-discovery efforts to address content quality and abuse trends.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the Philippines market, including regulatory developments and benchmarking; adapt policies to evolving market needs and regulatory landscape.
  • Develop, launch and implement new policies and operational workflows in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Regional, Operations, Moderation, Product, Business) to enhance automation, risk detection and quality assurance.
  • Act as an escalation point and manage internal and external communications on E-commerce creator and content policy issues; promote transparency and assess creators’ plans of action in response to enforcement actions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years in data-driven roles involving program development and/or policy framing; experience in end-to-end project management and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Fluency in English and Filipino, written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to support recommendations and actions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in E-commerce, marketplace platforms, social media, or content creation.
  • Understanding of Philippines national and regional culture and compliance landscape.
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to develop new skills; strong communication, results-orientation and change-management capabilities.
  • Willingness to collaborate with stakeholders, review data and content to address gaps; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar data tools.
