About the Role The People & Culture Business Partner is responsible for advising leadership and employees across a range of strategic, operational, and transactional deliverables that align with the business objectives in their designated unit or branch. This senior role in the People & Culture function reports to the P&C Director and will contribute to the strategic direction and guide agreed projects and initiatives that enhance employee capability and performance. The role is committed to promoting the People & Culture brand within Planit and represents the team to the highest standard, demonstrating professionalism, resilience, strong organization, pragmatism, communication, reliability, and adaptability. Responsibilities Work closely with General Managers and their teams, playing the role of strategic advisor and team player by providing advice that is practical, fit for purpose, and commercial. Continuously improve working relationships, build morale, and advocate for Planit culture. Identify, assess, and proactively drive people priorities with a data‑driven approach that aligns with branch/division objectives. Partner with legal, finance, and external parties as needed to resolve complex complaints/concerns. Provide day‑to‑day performance management guidance to line management and their teams (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Train/explain HR process and policies to stakeholders at all levels. Collaborate with the P&C Director to develop and execute the P&C plan aligned with the global P&C strategy. Collaborate with the P&C Director to set KPIs and annual targets for the designated branch/division aligned with global P&C KPIs. Drive annual cyclical activities and processes including remuneration review, performance, compliance, promotion – ensuring everything is completed. Identify opportunities to continually improve and streamline P&C processes. Measure and report metrics on the aligned branch/unit. Ensure full regulatory compliance in the region with the assistance of the P&C Director. Develop all members of the P&C function to continuously upskill and foster a high‑performing, collaborative team environment. Form strong partnerships with the P&C BP team and COEs to understand deliverables and impact on the branch/region. Raise issues to the P&C Director promptly for support and solutioning where complex issues or risks arise. Essential Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in the related field. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources. Strong generalist HR experience in an international business environment. Excellent knowledge of local regulations and associated policies. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, including management. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Self‑motivated & proactive self‑starter. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a busy environment. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
