Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee construction projects specializing in Fire Life Safety and Fire Protection systems. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage all phases of construction projects—from planning and execution to completion—while ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage fire life safety/fire protection projects from initiation to completion.
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international fire protection codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare progress reports, documentation, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure project quality, safety, and adherence to approved plans.
  • Manage project risks, resolve conflicts, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Lead and mentor project team members to drive performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in fire life safety and fire protection systems.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, fire protection standards, and local building regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and MS Office Suite, AutoCAD etc .
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, or equivalent in Fire Protection Engineering) are an advantage.
  • Must know how to drive 4 wheels car.
  • Willing to assigned in Sta Rosa Laguna

Qualifications (Additional)
  • The candidate must possess at least a professional license (passed board/bar/professional license exam) in engineering (civil) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Autocad
  • Preferably an assistant manager/manager specialized in engineering—civil/construction/structural or equivalent.

Responsibilities and Profile

  • The project manager shall be responsible for the overall construction management of the assigned project site.
  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and oversee the project budget. Ensure operating expenses are monitored and within budget.
  • Provide technical or resource requirements for site projects. Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor.
  • Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications.
  • Conduct construction inspection and review the integrity of the structure and recommend corrective action.
  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness.
  • Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations or establish reference points.
  • Analyze survey data and drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, or other regulations.
  • Assist in obtaining permits and licenses for construction sites
  • Inspect projects to monitor compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays to ensure proper procedures.
  • Identify local community and environmental risks and develop risk management strategies.

Administrative Tasks

  • Prepare necessary reports for third-party evaluation, deficiency and progress reports, and other reports requested by management;
  • Maintain an inventory log for all materials, equipment, and related resources; process requisitions;
  • Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements;
  • Ensure first responders address emergencies and provide timely updates to head office.

  • Oversee the work performance of all workers on-site. Provide clear directives and instructions.

Job Description

Representative of Ops to align the project target with PM/PJM, lead the Ops team to ensure successful execution of the project plan, and meet project targets. Staff PJE should have leadership on project planning and control, coordination and communications, knowledge of TE business, manufacturing process and costing, and resource balance. Provide guidance to new engineers.

Project Timeline

Identify/align project goals and scope with PJM and PM, break down tasks of tooling/process developments and qualification.

Make/align tooling development and qualification timeline, assign tasks to Ops, include tooling development, materials purchase.

Track and manage the project team to execute the project progress based on the committed project schedule

Project Cost

Lead Ops to simulate sample cost and production cost to achieve the project landing zone target, and optimize launch cost

Budget and control scrap cost through leveraging the design and manufacturing process to meet the project target during the NPI phase

Project Execution

Guide capacity planning, materials sourcing, and manpower to support all builds in the plant.

Oversee tooling/process development, identify bottlenecks and issues, and organize the Ops team to improve those bottlenecks and issues.

Oversee risk assessment in project execution, stay in touch with PJM to make a mitigation plan, and conduct planned activities in Ops.

Finalize the Safe Launch plan for product mix and launch readiness with stakeholders. Lead Safe Launch team meetings to ensure successful HVM startup and manufacturing qualification.

Align budget with Ops and control total capital spending against CER.

Lead and coordinate line setup for LVM/HVM builds.

Lead Ops to ramp-up planning, including materials and manpower, and ensure smooth handover to production.

Product Sustaining

Product migration leadership, including project timeline, investment, cost control, and safety stock.

Lead product capacity analysis and expand through reinvestment.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree, engineering background preferred

PMP certification preferred

5 years of related experience in project management. Fluent in English.
