Qualifications

About You

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Native/Business level Japanese language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in general/financial accounting
  • Understanding of Japanese regulatory and reporting environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and financial software systems i.e. Oracle
Good to have
  • Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent)
  • Experience with Japanese accounting standards and regulations
  • Prior experience in a global financial services organization
  • Knowledge of additional Asian languages is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Handle full-cycle general ledger and overall day to day financial operations for the Japan entity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking stakeholders (internal and external i.e. bank, tax forms etc.)
  • Facilitate clear communication between Japanese stakeholders and Citco Global Teams
  • Prepare Japanese financial statements for publication
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Support existing entities within the portfolio as needed
  • Maintain compliance with local and international reporting standards
