Overview
Project Accounting & Billing (PA&B) Manager is responsible for managing the Project Admin, Project Billing and Credit & Accounts Receivable teams across regions. Provide effective guidance to the team, manage and deliver services to the region. The PA&B Manager ensures day-to-day operations are efficient, resources are utilized effectively, and workload is distributed appropriately. They help the PA&B Service Delivery Manager (SDM) in achieving exceptional client service and cost effectiveness. The PA&B Manager leads Team Leads on operational matters, collaborates with counterparts on KPIs and SLAs, and supports strategic opportunities to improve service delivery quality, standardization, and automation in alignment with the Global Finance vision. As a member of the PA&B leadership team, they contribute to building capability and standards of the GSSC PA&B function and collaborate with other Finance leaders to deliver best-in-class services.

- Sets clear team goals, deadlines, and delegates tasks
- Manages direct reports in accordance with company procedures and standards
- Drives the team toward achieving goals and targets
- Generates and shares detailed reports on team performance and deadlines
- Conducts staff reviews and recommends training and development
- Keeps management updated on team performance
- Manages stakeholders’ requirements and expectations
- Develops strategies to promote adherence to regulations and performance goals
- Assists management with hiring and new team member training
- Reviews monthly metrics and coordinates with onshore teams
- Delegates workload to ensure proper resource utilization
- Ensures strong backup systems in place with team leads
- Attends team meetings to share best practices and expectations
- Communicates concerns and policies across management, leads, and team members
- Addresses team feedback and resolves issues or conflicts
- Provides quality customer service and handles customer inquiries and complaints
- Collaborates with PA&B Service Delivery Manager to improve processes and address issues
- Communicates all situations that may affect meeting standards or deadlines
- Complies with company policy and procedures
- Assists auditors during annual/interim audits
- Performs other related tasks as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA is an advantage
- Comprehensive experience in Project to Cash / Order to Cash, general and intercompany accounting
- Minimum 10 years in Projects (or related), AR management and billing
- At least 5-7 years of managerial experience in a similar industry
- Experience in Shared Service, BPO, or multinational environments
- ERP systems experience (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Oracle eBS)
- Proactive, team-oriented, and able to motivate others
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail, organized, results-oriented
- Knowledge of performance metrics and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in Project Management
