AU Bookkeeper

Salary: P40,000 - P50,000 (Monthly Package) Schedule: Monday to Friday (07:00 AM-04:00 PM PHT) What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping Proven experience as a bookkeeper or payroll specialist in an Australian context. Proficiency in advanced accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Australian payroll processes, taxation, and superannuation. Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding professional ethics. High ethical standards and integrity in all financial practices. Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines What will you do? Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and current financial records using Xero accounting software. Record and reconcile bank transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Payroll Processing: Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for clients' employees, ensuring adherence to Australian payroll regulations. Calculate and deduct appropriate taxes, superannuation contributions, and other deductions. Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. Prepare and distribute payslips and electronic transfers in a timely manner. Client Support: Collaborate effectively with the Honed Accounting team to ensure outstanding client service.
