Overview

The Design Officer works closely with contractors, tenants, and officials on site to ensure that design works are carried out to specific standards. The role guarantees that any design problems are resolved quickly, confirms design alterations to the existing structure, and advises on restoration and conservation of old properties. The Design Officer collaborates with engineers, surveyors, and construction specialists on site and oversees projects from start to finish to ensure structures meet company policies, company design and image standards, management standards, and all applicable laws and regulations on construction.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and construction specialists on site to oversee projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure designs comply with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve design problems promptly and implement approved design alterations to existing structures.
  • Advise on restoration and conservation of old properties.
  • Ensure on-site work conforms to applicable laws, codes, and regulations on construction.
Education Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Architecture or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
  • Supervisor/3 years & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Architecture.
  • Experience in AutoCAD & SketchApp Technology.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to relate well with all levels of the organization.
Work Location

The candidate must be willing to be assigned in SM City Clark.
