Overview

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components on marine vessels.

Perform specialized installation and troubleshooting of CCTV systems onboard ships.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and work orders to determine job specifications.
  • Conduct system tests and inspections to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure all electrical work aligns with shipyard safety protocols and marine industry standards.
  • Collaborate with shipyard teams, engineers, and other electricians for efficient task completion.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, installations, and inspections.
  • Assist in diagnosing electrical issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations during all phases of work.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical work within shipyard environments .
  • Proven experience in CCTV system installation and maintenance on marine vessels.
  • Familiarity with marine safety standards and practices.
