Volunteer Photographer & Videographer – Siargao Island Program: Typhoon Odette Recovery and Rehabilitation Towards Climate Resilience (RRTCR)Location: Dapa, Surigao del Norte (Siargao)Duration: 7‑8 November 2025Closing date: 4 November 2025 Overview The Volunteer Photographer & Videographer will support the Action Against Hunger Communications Department by documenting key moments of the WASH Summit (WASHayanihan 2025) and Run4WASH event. Photographs and video clips must follow Action Against Hunger’s branding guidelines and donor requirements. Scope of Work Visually document the summit and Run4WASH event, focusing on cross‑cutting themes such as gender, climate change, and WASH. Produce high‑quality photographs and short video clips for reporting and social media. Ensure all outputs comply with donor visibility requirements when shared. Coordination Coordinate with the Head of Project on security and agenda. Coordinate with the Communications Manager on visibility guidelines and minimum requirements. Coordinate with the WASH Coordinator for technical components as needed. Deliverables Before the Summit Attend the orientation/briefing session with the Communications Manager. Run through the program to identify priority sessions, speakers, and visuals to capture. During the Summit Capture high‑quality photos of: Panel discussions, workshops, and breakout sessions Keynote speakers, VIPs, and awardees Interactive exhibits and audience engagement WASH‑themed branding and displays Record short video clips of: Event highlights and raw footage Testimonials from participants, speakers, or organizers Behind‑the‑scenes or candid moments After the Summit Submit 30–50 edited, high‑resolution photographs. Submit 5–10 short raw video clips or one short edited highlight reel if editing support is offered. Support naming/tagging of files based on team guidance. Turn over all raw photos, videos, and signed consent forms to the Action Against Hunger Communications Department. Key Competencies Experience in event photography and/or videography. Own professional equipment: camera, tripod, microphone, lights (if needed). Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Good eye for storytelling, diversity, and inclusive visuals. Knowledge of basic photo and video editing software. Passion for development or social issues, particularly WASH, is a plus. Conditions Submit a short expression of interest (1 paragraph). Provide a sample of past work, available equipment, and availability during the 2‑day event. Strictly comply with Action Against Hunger security protocols. All outputs must comply with brand and visibility guidelines and data protection, child protection, safeguarding, and gender policies.
