About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operation In Charge to join our manufacturing facility in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan. This is a full-time position with strategic importance to the smooth and efficient operation of our plant. As Plant Operation In Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are maintained at the highest level. You will report directly to senior management and play a pivotal role in achieving our operational objectives and supporting the company's overall success.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily plant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal productivity across all departments
• Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits
• Manage production schedules and coordinate with various teams to meet targets and deadlines
• Supervise plant staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and operational metrics
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime
• Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
• Respond to operational issues promptly and develop solutions to prevent recurrence
• Liaise with senior management on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in plant operations management or a similar leadership role within the manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control systems, and operational best practices
• Proficiency in health and safety regulations and demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
• Excellent supervisory and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
• Experience with production planning and scheduling systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with manufacturing management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field are preferred
• Knowledge of metal processing or similar heavy manufacturing environments is advantageous
