Job Summary The Video Editor will be responsible for but not limited to producing a high volume of scroll‑stopping UGC and influencer footage for paid ads and social channels. This role requires expert editing skills, exceptional attention to detail for compliance and brand standards, and close collaboration with creative directors and the compliance team to deliver engaging, high‑quality videos that meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities Edit videos from raw footage into short‑form creatives (ads, UGC‑style edits) and longer‑form content for platforms across multiple brands. Ensure all videos meet strict compliance standards by adding required DISCLAIMERS, checking captions for spelling mistakes, and editing/blurring out non‑compliant visual elements (e.g., product shots, injections). Strictly follow all established processes within ClickUp and Slack, ensure consistency in workflows and branding, and communicate immediately if instructions are unclear or steps are missed. Perform basic video editing, add captions, execute simple motion graphics (titles/lower thirds), and complete basic color correction/sound edits as instructed. Utilize a strong portfolio and marketing eye to occasionally create compelling mashups or new cohesive videos from existing footage to enhance storytelling. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, consistently adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing previous professional work. Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut, plus knowledge of After Effects basics. Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. Solid understanding of video production processes and techniques. Preferred Familiarity with AI editing tools (such as Runway, Descript, OpusClip, etc.). Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp and Slack, and basic knowledge of Google Workspace. Familiarity with high‑level production standards (broadcast/TV quality) for high‑level ads. Advanced knowledge of storytelling techniques for creating cohesive mashups. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and work on a computer. Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting. Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels. Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing.
