Accounting Head

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Head to lead our accounting team and oversee the company’s financial operations. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and provide insights to support business growth. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the accounting department, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and taxation. - Oversee month-end and year-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. - Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. - Implement and monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. - Coordinate with auditors, government agencies, and financial institutions. - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business strategies. - Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance. - Mentor and develop accounting staff to achieve departmental goals. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). - Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role. -Strong knowledge of accounting standards and local taxation. -Proficient in accounting systems/software. -Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. -High attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism.
