Job Overview Responsible for the performance of PMO and Project Controls services at Program level. They ensure alignment with best practices and international standards, partnering with clients to exceed expectations, leading the delivery of technical PMO and Project Controls services, including digital services. They possess strong business development skills, commercial awareness, and a deep understanding of the construction industry, trends, and innovation. Responsibilities Accountable for the PMO and Project Controls performance of all service delivery for their assigned Program. Responsible for ensuring all PMO and Risk Management services within the assigned Program are fully aligned with best practice and international ISO standards and are reflected in all Control Centre. Act as a role model and mentor to others. Provide expert advice and support to all projects, partnering with clients to exceed expectations and build strong professional relationships. Act as the PMO and Project Controls Subject Matter Expert. Lead and direct the delivery of all technical PMO and Project Controls services, including all aspects of Digital Services. Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. Qualifications Strong business development skills and commercial awareness/acumen (e.g., cross-selling Mace services into client organizations). Strong understanding of construction and related industry, trends, innovation and associated threats and opportunities. Deep domain knowledge of providing PMO and Project Controls leadership in collaboration with external bodies, professional institutions and peers. Experience delivering a range of project services on major construction programs or management consultancy. Relevant university degree (e.g., construction, engineering) or equivalent. Chartered (or equivalent) membership of relevant professional institution(s) e.g. Association of Project Managers (preferable). Successful management of programmes. Engages with peers within professional bodies and other forums to maintain professional knowledge and to work across industry to advance the profession.
