Bike Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Inspect bicycles to identify mechanical issues or damage.
• Perform repairs, including fixing brakes, gears, chains, tires, and suspensions.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as tuning gears, adjusting brakes, and lubricating parts.
• Assemble new bicycles and ensure they meet safety standards.
• Replace or upgrade bicycle components as requested by customers.
• Provide customers with advice on bike care, accessories, and safety equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
• Keep records of repairs, services, and customer requests.
• Stay updated on the latest bike models, components, and repair techniques.

• Proven experience as a bike mechanic or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of bicycle components and repair techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for cycling and familiarity with different types of bicycles (road, mountain, hybrid, etc.).
