Work you'll do Supervise activities of staff, including training, instruction, task assignment, work review, performance evaluation, and administration of progressive discipline as needed. Build and maintain respectful, positive working relationships with clients, staff, managers, and other members of the firm, providing conflict resolution as needed. Provide support in practice development and marketing activities. Support HR team in conducting interviews. Manage quote approval, identify month‑end journal entries (software deferrals, revenue adjustments, etc.), prepare supporting documentation, and communicate to the accounting department for booking; perform revenue simulations based on various assumptions; conduct impact analysis of key policy applications; support sales in deal structuring; and review contractual clauses. Prepare a variety of financial reports including periodic reports, year‑end closing, payroll‑related reports, and other reports as required by clients. Your role as a leader Understand objectives for stakeholders, clients, and Deloitte, aligning own performance to objectives and setting personal priorities. Develop through actively seeking growth opportunities, sharing knowledge and experiences, and acting as a strong brand ambassador. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent, or Business School diploma. Experience: At least 4 years of tax, accounting, and/or payroll‑related work experience; preferably 2–3 years at a Big 4 firm. Certifications: Preferably Certified Public Accountant or other relevant certifications. Ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders (sales, operations, finance community, auditors, etc.). Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate point of view clearly and assertively. Ability to focus on the overall picture, solve problems, and provide operational and decision support.
