Integration Test Engineer

Role Overview The Certification Team is responsible for developing and maintaining a large-scale automated test framework that integrates virtual machines, networks, and code solutions to support end-to-end integration testing of 1 4 + applications. This position offers a great opportunity to: learn how financial instruments work and how they are used by real hedge funds in their daily operations, deepening your knowledge in the financial field; deepen your Python programming skills and explore new Python features; develop problem solving skills through investigating complex integration issues between systems. Technology stack: OS & Virtualization: Windows and Linux based Virtual Machine Programming: Python 3 Database: MSSQL Version Control: Git Deployment & Automation: Chef, Octopus Web & APIs: REST Responsibilities Virtual Infrastructure Management Provision and manage Windows virtual servers (create/remove VMs, work with images/clones) Configure firewalls, Active Directory, and virtual networks Troubleshoot and resolve Windows-based system issues Software Development (Python) Develop CLI utilities, web services, and automation tools in Python 3 Create REST API clients and contribute to the automated testing framework. Database Administration Manage MSSQL Server including backups, restores, and basic administration Write and execute SQL queries and stored procedures. CI/CD and Automation Support and maintain Chef scripts (Ruby-based) for VM configuration Manage deployment workflows in Octopus, troubleshoot issues, and update processes Test Automation & Framework Development Design, implement, and maintain automated integration tests using Python & SQL Extend and enhance the test automation framework Document system components, processes, and test results Your Profile Strong SQL fundamentals Understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.) Intermediate English level Windows Administration Active Directory basics Firewall and network configuration Windows debugging and troubleshooting Development Skills Programming skills (2+ years) in one of the following languages: Python, Java, C#, GoLang Experience with Object Oriented Programming (Python, Java, C#) CI/CD (Git) Familiarity with Git flow Branching, pull requests, conflict resolution Nice-to-have skills Strong Python 3 (Python 3.6+) Scripting with PowerShell Experience with Regex or XPath Experience with Chef and/or Octopus/Jenkins Domain knowledge in Finance/Trading We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
