We believe that the best ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, at any time, and that curiosity is the key to anticipating our clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations.**Your Team's Impact**FactSet Private Equity / Venture Capital offers tools that private equity/venture capital (PE/VC) firms need to evaluate investor profiles, access research reports, construct valuation models, and identify new investment opportunities.The team is recruiting Research Analysts who will research and update information on private equity asset managers, their funds under management, and their portfolio companies. The Research Analyst is also responsible for maintaining content on a periodic basis, including updating existing information in a timely fashion, adding new private equity/venture capital firms and related companies, monitoring updates in the PE/VC space, expansion of existing sources of information, executing quality assurance procedures, and resolving data accuracy issues. You are expected to work onsite as per business requirement.**What You'll Do*** Collect, analyze, and process financial market data from various data sources and into the database utilized by the team. Ensure the integrity of the company's financial market information. Complete, timely and accurate database Accurate and reliable data for the client* Audit Resolutions/fix and recommendations for market specific guidelines. Audit resolution sign off. Creation and refinement of market specific guides. Accurate and reliable data for the client* Provide accurate and reliable demographic and statistical financial market data to internal database and to internal/external clientele; Focus on ensuring the integrity of the company's financial market information; Fulfill the research/analytical/ market study needs, required/ requested by the external clients to procure future and retain current business; Support clients on data queries; The job also involves reporting & maintaining records of work done**What We're Looking For**Required Skills* College Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent is required* Fluency in English and the required language* Good organization skills and capacity to work autonomously required* Good research and interpretation skills* Computer Literacy to effectively use the database and software for collection and processing of content/data* Understanding of financial markets and instruments as well as prior exposure to the private equity industry a plus.Desired Skill* Capacity to analyze and identify data for inputting the data in the private equity and venture capital tables.* Capacity to review and quickly sort through information* Capacity to understand and explain how data should be presented and why some data is used or discarded* Capacity to find information from multiple sources and aggregate them in a coherent fashion* Prior research experience in any given field a plus**What's In It For You**At FactSet, our people are our greatest asset, and our culture is our biggest competitive advantage.
