To co-ordinate and facilitate the compilation, analysis and management of all demand for the business in a manner that will support the demand/forecasting cycle and S&OP process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Demand Management

• Actively participate in the S&OP forecasting and demand review cycle. Includes:
• Conducting monthly Pre-Demand Review meetings as part of the overall S&OP process
• Gather, analyse and validate demand data
• Work with Customers and Key Account Managers to maintain 24 month rolling forecast
• Interact with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure latest market intel is reflected in the demand system modelling
• Run, analyse & provide reporting on demand history, demand plan and forecast accuracy including comparisons to Budget, Prior Year, Year to Date and other business targets
• Manage procedures for measuring and managing forecast error, including work on continuous improvement in the forecast feedback mechanism
• Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure timely introduction of new item, or promotional item forecasts
• Ensure discontinuance/new item supersession relationships are maintained in the demand planning system in line with the ERP system
• Ensure the forecasting cycle is completed within the S&OP procedure timelines

Communications/Reporting

• Develop and continuously improve communication channels for demand information between Sales, Customer Care, Supply & Production Planning and Purchasing to enable an efficient and effective S&OP process.
• Communicate demand planning performance with the Operations management team.

Including:

• Trend and actual reports of abnormal demand
• Trend and actual reports of new item introduction and promotional events
• Maintain and report on all demand-related performance KPIs
• Trend and actual data measurement of forecast accuracy by Key Account

Education and Training

• Provide ongoing training and education of procedures to Sales, Customer Care and customers as appropriate for the following areas:
• Demand management cycle, process and everyone’s roles, responsibilities and accountabilities in the process.
• Forecasting method and process, and everyone’s roles, responsibilities and accountabilities in the process
• Analysis of forecast error and methods for improvement

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Demand Planning/Forecasting processes, Demand Planning systems, Excel (Advanced)
• S&OP processes, Supply Chain processes (Supply Planning, Production Planning/Scheduling, Inventory Management), ERP systems, reporting systems
• Diploma or Degree in a discipline with transferable skills

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Data analysis, facilitating cross-functional meetings, problem solving, project management and time management
• Communications, conflict resolution, negotiation, people management and presentations
• Disciplined, highly organized, able to quickly interpret, analyse & action complex scenarios & information inputs
• Analytical, have high attention to detail, be able to work autonomously, be self-motivated and possess a drive for continuous improvement

The candidate must be based in the Philippines.

Duty schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM AEST
