Public Relations and Communications Manager Join to apply for the Public Relations and Communications Manager role at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Job Summary The Public Relations and Communications Manager will oversee media relations, develop publicity strategies, and foster relationships with media and community influencers to promote the hotel and enhance its public image. Key Responsibilities Manage domestic and international media relations and outreach efforts. Develop newsworthy promotions and story ideas related to hotel services and events. Maintain strong media contacts and pitch hotel initiatives to journalists. Supervise media releases, marketing materials, and digital content. Develop and update media materials and the hotel’s website. Create media personalities among staff and train them for media appearances. Host journalists and develop relationships with organizations to support PR efforts. Handle media inquiries, press visits, and onsite productions. Monitor media coverage and report on media mentions. Build relationships with community influencers and promote positive guest and employee relations. Produce monthly reports for senior management. Manage departmental budget and collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams. Additional Responsibilities Engage in continuous learning and professional development. Perform any other duties assigned by superiors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, or a relevant field. Minimum 2 years of PR or communication experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong media and social media connections. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
