Citrix Consultant

Job Overview Citrix Consultant (Home-based) at Outsourced. Role focuses on migrating and merging legacy Citrix environments and upgrading existing environments to current releases. Responsibilities Work with the technical solutions delivery team to migrate and merge legacy Citrix environments. Upgrade existing Citrix environments to current releases. Manage hosted shared desktops and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Report to the technical solutions delivery team and drive resolution of technical issues. Required Technical Skills Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (6.5 – current LTSR versions). Citrix Provisioning Services. Citrix Federated Authentication Service. Citrix Workspace Environment Manager. Citrix Licensing, Storefront, and Director. Management of hosted shared desktops and VDI. Qualifications 5+ years of configuration and support of Citrix products and technologies. Knowledge of TCP/IP and interoperability with network devices. Knowledge of Citrix Netscaler is a plus. Knowledge of MS Windows and VMware operating systems. Information security knowledge to maintain a secure environment. Experience troubleshooting application installation and compatibility issues in multi‑user environments. Experience managing end‑user migration processes between Citrix environments. Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work. Build positive working relationships with co‑workers, clients, vendors and customers. Work Location Home-based.
