OpsWerks is a technical consulting company specializing in operational services for the high-tech industry. As we experience rapid growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team and lead our PH Finance Operations Team. Reporting directly to the PH Business Operations Head, the Finance Manager will play a crucial role in executing our growth plans in our PH Sites.

Your Role

  1. Strategic Planning & Analysis

    • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to drive business performance.
    • Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
    • Analyze financial data and KPIs to identify trends and growth opportunities.
    • Identify areas for cost savings and process optimization to improve financial performance.

  2. Financial Reporting and Compliance

    • Coordinate with U.S.-based bookkeepers and parent finance officers. Prepare or review monthly financial reports and cash flow forecasts for headquarters. Ensure Xero records are accurate and accessible for consolidation.
    • Ensure all BIR tax obligations are met and act as the primary liaison for external audits and inquiries.
    • Develop and enforce financial policies to ensure good governance, aligning with local regulations and internal controls.

  3. Business Partnering & Strategic Support

    • Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with business goals.
    • Provide cost-benefit analyses and scenario planning for investments and expansion.
    • Identify operational efficiencies and financial risks, recommending mitigation strategies.

  4. Process Improvement & Automation

    • Optimize financial systems and processes for efficiency.
    • Support integration of BI tools and dashboards.
    • Lead initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and automation.

  5. Team Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Manage and mentor finance team members.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies.
    • Represent the Finance team to senior management.

  6. Vendor Management

    • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure service delivery within contract terms and budget.

Overall, the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will play a key role in ensuring efficient financial operations supporting our organization's goals.

Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Philippine taxation laws.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, Xero, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Customer service orientation to meet stakeholder needs.
