Overview
ISTA Solutions, an outsourcing/offshoring company, is in search of an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our expanding team. The role involves Medicare/Medicaid billing responsibilities and collaboration with a team that emphasizes employee satisfaction and work-life balance.
Responsibilities- Perform eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures
- Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information
- Follow up on unpaid claims within the standard billing cycle timeframe
- Contact insurance companies regarding discrepancies in payments as necessary
- Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances
- Provide customer support through phone, email, and chat
- Resolve issues and accommodate customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction with products or services
- Collaborate with colleagues and different departments to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
- At least 6 months to 1 year of BPO experience in a Healthcare account
- Knowledge of medical claims, benefits, eligibilities, and appeals
- Good working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Amenable to working night shifts
- Willing to work onsite in Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong
