Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Systems, the Developer is responsible for Oracle Application customizations, extensions, and integrations to existing applications. The role involves development activities and managing custom application development projects, including customizations and extensions of Oracle Applications. The candidate will work closely with functional and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications. A strong technical background in programming languages and a thorough understanding of Oracle Applications architecture are essential. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities, are required.

Responsibilities

  1. Act as lead developer for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP.
  2. Review, implement, update, document plans, efforts, and designs across multiple projects.
  3. Design, configure, and code reports, UI, programs, extensions, and interfaces in Oracle EBS and related systems.
  4. Deliver technical solutions following best practices.
  5. Develop new applications and extensions based on user requirements.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Oracle Finance/Manufacturing applications.
  7. Support and troubleshoot existing applications including Forms, Reports, Interfaces, and related components.
  8. Coordinate with other IT groups on projects, remediations, and incidents.
  9. Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience with Oracle EBS 12i (R12.2.10), including modules like Inventory, SCP, Purchasing, etc.
  3. Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), ADF, Java/JavaScript, JSP, XML, Forms, Reports, Workflow.
  4. Experience with Oracle APEX.
  5. Extensive experience creating SQL packages, functions, and procedures.
  6. Deep expertise in Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, PLSQL, Forms Personalization, Workflow.
  7. Web application development experience with server-side Java and client-side JavaScript frameworks like React.js is a plus.
  8. Experience with RPA is highly desirable.
  9. Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  10. Ability to manage projects and coordinate with hybrid onsite/offshore teams.
  11. Good verbal and written communication skills.
