Role Profile: The Printing Supervisor reports directly to the Production Manager. Oversees the Printing process in order to make sure that the operation is safe and sound for the workers, promoting a healthy environment and meeting the target efficiency. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Prepares the daily production schedule for each machine. Setting priorities and arranging the job sequences depending on the lead times. Ensures that production lines are following the Standard Operating Procedures of the company in compliance to Food Safety Requirements. Check the availability of the materials (i.e. substrates, inks, solvent, etc.) on each job. Retrieves all daily production reports and ensures that all data written on forms are correct, properly filled up and submitted on-time. Coordinates with the Production Planner to address issues on production lead time, deliveries and discrepancies. Knows all items produced in the Printing and Rewinding lines; ensures that all have Job Orders and that the production lines only produce what is written in the Job Order. Coordinates with Quality Control Department and/or Production Manager regarding in line rejections for possible rework of items on-hold. Monitors the efficiency of all Printing and Rewinding machines. Takes part in projects like process/systems improvement. Submit reports on performance and progress. Attend on both internal and external audits including submission of all necessary reports and documents. Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements. Supervise employees to help ensure efficiency and productivity. Perform administrative tasks under the guidance of Production Manager, such as documenting procedures and creating guidelines. Reporting to the Production Manager as required. Monitoring both individual and team job performance. Performs other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferably Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or any related course. Work experience in a manufacturing set-up is a plus but not required. Analytical thinker. Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision. Team player with good interpersonal and leadership skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to foster teamwork.
