Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures equipment and chemicals to be used for testing conforms to standard and specifications.
  • Coordinated with workshop supervisors in-charge, and Lab Quality Supervisor concerning quality issues encountered during testing.
  • Performs routine and non-routine chemical test on Ophthalmic lenses, and raw materials.
  • Ensure on-time testing of samples, proper documentation is observed, and work instruction is
  • followed. Understands and adheres to all local and corporate Health, Safety and Environment rules
  • regulation and policies, ISO Standard and Quality policies.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering or any related course
  • Registered Chemist/Chem tech with or without experience
  • Basic analytical skills (KPIs measurement & analysis)
  • Basic knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint
  • Good English Communication skills both oral and written
