Associate Auditor

Work Setup: Hybrid in Angeles City, Pampanga (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Work Shift: US Shift | Monday to Friday About the Role We are seeking an experienced Associate Auditor specializing in US Employee Benefit Plans (401K and/or 403B audits) to join our team. This role offers a hybrid work setup, requiring two days in the office. Key Responsibilities Assist in the execution of audits for Employee Benefit Plans, with a focus on 401(k) plans. Build your understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance and accuracy. Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of audit plans specific to Employee Benefit Plans. Support the management of the audit process from planning to reporting, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery. Assist in managing budgets and ensuring effective engagement realization. Collaborate with audit teams, contributing to a positive, growth-focused work environment. Review and provide feedback on audit documentation to guide improvement. Help prepare financial statements for benefit plans in compliance with US GAAP. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional client service. Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to clients, promoting transparency and understanding. Proactively track outstanding documentation and follow up with clients to ensure reporting deadlines are met. Stay abreast of evolving regulations and changes in accounting standards related to Employee Benefit Plans. Provide insights on emerging trends and best practices in the Employee Benefit Plans audit landscape. Actively engage in professional development and continuous learning to enhance audit expertise. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field Certified Professional Accountant 2+ years of external audit experience. Proven experience in auditing Employee Benefit Plans, specifically 401K and/or 403B auditing. Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Employee Benefit Plan audits. Strong leadership abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing junior team members. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams. Internet Requirements Candidates must have a stable internet connection (minimum 20mbps upload / 10mbps download speed with latency under 30ms).
