DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses. Organize and enter client financial information into tax software. Check data for accuracy and completeness before filing. Assist with filing extensions and tax estimates when needed. Request additional documents or information from clients as necessary. Keep records and workpapers organized for each return. Stay up to date on U.S. tax law changes. Work with the team to meet deadlines during tax season. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience with preparing US tax returns Proficiency with cloud-based accounting tools (QuickBooks Online, Xero) Familiarity with ProConnect and other tax software programs and tools. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients and collaboration with internal teams.
