Human Resources Specialist

The position is responsible in implementing and designing initiatives focused on employee development and engagement, will collaborate with HR and management teams to assess organizational needs, develop training programs, and execute strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Development and Implementation of Training Programs and Initiatives
- Assessing organizational training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations (PCAF).
- Delivering training sessions in person or virtually, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources.
- Designing customized training materials based on identified needs and learning objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms.
2. Designing and Executing Employee Engagement Activities
- Organizing team-building activities such as retreats, workshops, and social events to foster a sense of camaraderie among employees.
- Implementing recognition programs to acknowledge employee achievements and contributions.
- Facilitating communication channels such as suggestion boxes, town hall meetings, and employee forums to encourage feedback and idea sharing.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
3. Providing Coaching and Support
- Offering one-on-one coaching sessions to employees to support their career development goals and address performance issues.
- Conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to employees on their strengths and areas for growth.
- Collaborating with managers to create individual development plans for employees, outlining goals, learning opportunities, and performance metrics.
- Facilitating workshops and seminars on topics such as communication skills, conflict resolution, and leadership development to enhance employee competencies and effectiveness.
4. Conducting Assessments and Surveys
- Designing and administering employee satisfaction surveys to gather feedback on various aspects of the workplace environment, including leadership, communication, and job satisfaction.
- Analyzing survey data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement within the organization.
- Developing actions plans based on survey results to address identified issues and enhance employee engagement and morale.
5. Facilitate Orientations and Programs
- Facilitating new employee orientation programs to ensure smooth transition for the new joiners.
- Assist the team with all the programs and initiatives that seeks to help and nurture the employees within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration major in Human Resources Development Management (HRDM), Psychology, or any other related field.
- Preferably possession of certification in Human Resources i.e., Certified Human Resources Associate (CHRA), Certified Human Resources - Professional (CHRP), and/or PRC license as Registered Psychometrician.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the field of Human Resources especially in learning and development, people engagement, organizational development, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 programs and other HR Tools.
- Can work individually with minimal supervision and work in a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effectiveness and efficiency in Human Resources processes, practices, and standards.
- Highly organized and knowledgeable in Human Resources.
- Highly conscientious individual, energetic, outgoing, and sociable.
- Maintain and holds information with confidentiality and privacy.
- Ability to make decisions, identify problems, and organize work while coordinating with colleagues and subordinates.
