Overview Cost Controller for Construction We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Controller for Construction to oversee budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting across all construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on budget and within financial guidelines. Responsibilities Oversee budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting across all construction projects. Ensure that projects are delivered on budget and within financial guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in construction cost control, budgeting, financial analysis, or project controls. Experience in project-based environments, particularly in construction or engineering, is preferred. Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, change orders, buyouts, billing processes and cost management tools. Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.). Experience with cost control or project management software is a plus. Knowledge of budgeting tools and forecasting techniques. Key Competencies Strong Analytical skills with the ability to identify cost variances and interpret trends. High attention to detail to ensure accurate budgeting, cost tracking and reporting. Develop and maintain project budgets and cost plans. Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in resolving cost overruns or budget discrepancies. High integrity and work ethics. Support procurement by providing cost data and analysis. Experience with large-scale or multi-site construction projects. Certification such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
