Role OverviewThis individual will work closely with Sales to define and lead the technical and solutioning dimension of the payroll sales cycle. The role is crucial in translating customer requirements into effective, compliant, and scalable payroll solutions.
You will bring in a deep understanding of Philippines payroll , regional compliance, and the unique challenges of clients across industries, particularly from your previous experience with payroll providers .
Key Responsibilities- Sales & Solution Strategy
- Execute payroll presales strategy aligned with business objectives in the Philippines market.
- Support opportunity qualification and define solution scope with Sales, tailoring approaches for different industries.
- Shape solution positioning and messaging that highlights value and compliance adherence.
- Customer Engagement & Solutioning
- Lead technical discovery sessions and client discussions, understanding pain points and crafting tailored payroll solutions.
- Conduct product demos, configuration walkthroughs, and solution presentations.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution documents, and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Delivery and Implementation teams to ensure seamless handover and execution.
- Share domain knowledge and updates with internal teams.
- Win Rate – % of qualified opportunities converted to deals.
- Demo-to-Proposal Conversion Rate – % of demos resulting in formal client proposals.
- PoC Success Rate – % of successful PoCs with minimal rework.
- Presales Cycle Time – Time from discovery to proposal, reflecting presales efficiency.
- MRR Growth Contribution – Uplift in average revenue per client through effective solutioning.
- 8+ years of overall experience , including minimum 3 years in payroll presales in the Philippines market.
- Strong understanding of Philippines payroll regulations , statutory compliance, and market dynamics.
- Ability to translate complex payroll configurations into simple, compelling client presentations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Technology, or related field preferred.
- Brings deep payroll domain knowledge and combines it with strong consultative selling skills.
- Can simplify complexity and communicate clearly with both business and technical audiences.
- Builds trust with customers and internal teams alike through expertise and ownership.
