Compliance Analyst

Join our Surveillance Team, which is part of our Risk Management Group and provides business surveillance to Macquarie's operating businesses and support groups. You will be responsible for undertaking Trade, Electronic Communications, and Voice surveillance to assist the Global Surveillance team with the day-to-day review and analysis of firm activity, including relevant trades (firm, client and employee), electronic and voice communications to identify patterns and behaviours indicating market abuse and misconduct. You will also be required to manage the daily/weekly volume of alerts and elevate matters of interest and follow up issues to a successful conclusion. In addition, you will work with local and Global Surveillance teams to improve the quality of alerts generated and remove "false positive" findings. What you offer A degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar Relevant experience in a compliance or regulatory role with a focus on detection and review of potential risks, especially market abuse and manipulation, is an advantage Analytical and investigative mindset High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex verbal information Strong written and verbal communication skills.
