Night Auditor

Overview

The Inns of Aurora is currently seeking a night auditor/security. Night Auditor accounts for and ensures accuracy of the day’s business and remains available to serve the overnight needs of guests.

• Audits all charges and postings, correcting work as required.
• Reconciles daily activity and closes all accounts in preparation for the new day.
• Maintains an accurate guest ledger in the property management system.
• Ensures processes are completed in accordance with guidelines from the accounting department.
• Prepares daily reports.
• Enforces all fire, life and safety procedures.
• Functions as a front desk agent.
• Assists the Accounting Department as needed and performs other duties as assigned.

• Associates degree in Accounting from an accredited college is required, or 3 years relevant experience.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to consistently analyze current systems and procedures and make recommendations to improve performance.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A friendly but professional work ethic and demeanor.
