JOB SUMMARY

Collect, collate, summarize and evaluate epidemiological data on disease occurrence in the farm operations. Assists respective departments in monitoring and evaluation of disease prevention and control programs under the guidance of his immediate superior.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Conduct farm visits or sanitation audits of company facilities under the supervision of a senior personnel.
  2. Perform necropsy procedure under the guidance of senior personnel.
  3. Assists in the implementation of approved vaccination and medication programs in his department.
  4. Submits weekly progress reports and/or special incidence reports as required by the department head assisted by senior personnel.
  5. Participates in disease investigations based on available data, and clinical findings on the causes of morbidities, mortalities, and poor flock performance.
  6. Join the AHG regular weekly meeting and also sits in the meeting of assigned department.
  7. Collects live bird, blood, organ/tissue samples, etc., as may be required for diagnosis.
  8. Performs other related duties and responsibilities assigned to him by his superior.
  9. Observes utmost confidentiality of data or investigative documents at all times unless advised otherwise.
